Supporting an icon

Having played host to the 1956 Melbourne Olympics, 2006 Commonwelth Games as well as Bledisloe Cup Matches, International Soccer and AFL Grand Finals the MCG, stands as an icon in sporting history. Philip Chun Essenital Services works closesly with Melbourne Cricket Club Facilty Managment Staff and other contractors to provide ongoing preventative maintenance testing, as well as continually optimising processes for testing and servicing of fire and life safety systems.

Inspect, test, report, improve

Our role involves quarterly and annual ESM inspections, and the review of preventative maintenance documentation. A key part of our service is running an annual System Interface Test as a full end to end simulation of fire mode within the Stadium. We co-ordinated and witnessed this testing, reporting on observations of the functionality of interface between mechaical, fire and other ancilary systems in fire mode. Annually Philip Chun Essenital Services also issues the Annual Essenital Safety Measures Report (AESMR) for the MCG.
