Philip Chun worked with Leighton Properties and award winning Architecture firm Bates Smart on a new office building at 177 Pacific Highway which was North Sydney’s first new commercial building in 6 years.
The 31 storey tower set a new benchmark for office buildings in North Sydney and incorporates state-of-the-art design elements, large floor plates, sweeping harbour views and full end-of-trip facilities. With a construction cost of $140 million, it achieved a 5 Star Green Star – Office Design and Office as Built v3 rating as well as a 5 Star NABERS Energy rating.
Philip Chun were engaged to provide Building Code Consulting advice and act as the Certifier for the project including issuing approvals to allow for staged construction as well staged occupation.
